Joanie Sheridan, RN, CPT


Joanie Sheridan, CPT, RN, BSN, began her career as a Pediatric nurse, working in the ICU & ER settings for many years. After taking a break to dedicate time to her four active children, she decided to pursue her personal training certification 14 years ago, through the American Council of Exercise. She has been working in the fitness area since, with both children and adults. She has relied on her pediatric nursing knowledge and combined it with experience to support movement for kids and teens. She has coached teams and individuals to get the most out of their amazing bodies.

Along her journey, she has coached for Girls on the Run, taught swim lessons to all ages & coached kids in elite club sports in the St. Louis area.

Working out with kids and teens is different than adults. We optimize playful movements and sports that fit your child’s interests and encourage them to move their body appropriately for growth and development.
